Business Development Consultant (Machinery)
Salary: GBP55,000 – GBP60,000 per annum + £5,000 Car Allowance + Early Friday Finish.

Are you a Business Development Consultant with a background in precision engineering looking for a technical, autonomous role with a leading manufacturer offering a unique workload and a car allowance?
Since the 1970s, this company has been providing precision engineering solutions to the aerospace, defence, and energy industries and, due to an ever‑increasing workload, is looking to expand its sales team.
In this role, you will work closely with engineers and clients to deliver tailored CNC machining solutions, supporting customers from initial enquiries through to quotations and technical consultation. Alongside this, you will attend trade shows and help drive new business development across the company’s client base.
This role would suit a Business Development Consultant or similar with a background in precision engineering looking for a commercially focused role with full autonomy.
The role
- Provide technical sales support from enquiry through to quotation.
- Consult with clients on CNC machining and precision engineering solutions.
- Mondays–Thursdays 7:30am – 4pm; Fridays 7am – 1pm.
The Person
- Business Development Consultant or similar.
- CNC/Machining background.
- Able to commute to Tewksbury.
