Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Employment Solicitor at Wildings Solicitors, based at the Birmingham office. The Employment Solicitor will handle a variety of employment law matters, including advising on contracts, policies, dismissal claims, redundancy, and workplace disputes. The role involves drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, providing legal representation, and offering advisory support to businesses and individuals. Working closely with clients, the solicitor will ensure that all legal solutions are practical, efficient, and meet client objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge and experience in employment law, including drafting contracts and handling workplace disputes
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and advisory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and standard office software
- Membership or eligibility for membership with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
