What you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential.
  • A valid UK Driving License – desirable.
  • A valid First-Aid qualification – essential.
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards and SC clearance standards.

What are you going to do:

  • Validation and verification of Safe and Secure Security networks.
  • Front of House and Loading Bay duties.
  • Ensuring a duty of care to all on-site staff.
  • Security oversight on the delivery of contract work.
  • Observations and near‑miss reporting including reporting of any incidents.
  • Escorting and supervision when prohibited items are brought on or taken off the floor.
  • Safe and Secure checks (taking over from Security Audit) and receipting.
  • Reporting any breaches of security.
  • Control of the site cameras and booking system including conducting CCTV investigations when required or instructed.
  • Maintain all security‑related documentation for audit purposes.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with the evacuation and searching of the buildings by following the requirements of the site Emergency response procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest security levels are in production.
  • Assist with Safe and Secure training and cover where necessary.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
