About the Role

  • £28,673 basic salary + Commission + Benefits
  • Based at Exeter – fully office based
  • Full time / permanent role – Monday to Friday
  • 20 holiday allowance + bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls to businesses to promote and sell waste management services.
  • Generate and qualify new business leads.
  • Build strong customer relationships and close sales over the phone.
  • Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and sales targets.
  • Use CRM systems to manage sales pipeline and follow-up activity.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of outbound sales or telesales experience, ideally in B2B or B2C.
  • A confident communicator with a strong sales mindset.
  • Resilient, motivated, target-driven.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of cold calls each day.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in sales and good IT literacy.
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively and brings creativity and energy to the role.
