Job Description Summary
Interprets complex data and manages the efficient and effective production of high-quality self‑serve information, analysis and research, anticipating stakeholder needs. Takes business requirements and delivers self‑serve solutions.
About this Opportunity
As part of the Performance & Insights team you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining self‑service reporting solutions utilising the advanced analytics and visualisation tools to Group Payments business areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop reporting solutions utilising advanced analytics and visualisation tools which can then be self‑served by the business areas.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting in line with regulatory, Group, and governance requirements using existing dashboards and through developing new dashboards.
- Perform thorough quality checks on data inputs and outputs, challenging discrepancies and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Assist in automation initiatives, driving both Control and Process Automation within the Group Payments Performance Office and across the wider Group Payments teams.
What you’ll need
- Experience in advanced analytics tools (e.g. complex Excel, SQL, Python) and experience of delivering analytics.
- Experience in developing MI reports using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) and extensive experience of data ingestion, transformation, multiple sources and impactful visualisation.
- Able to interpret large, complex data sets, design and deliver solutions that fulfil requirements efficiently and effectively, producing high-quality information, analysis, and research while anticipating partner needs.
- Data Accuracy & Analysis: Strong attention to detail with a passion for data and analytics; ability to interpret data and convert it into meaningful insights.
- Collaboration: Maintain effective contacts across Group Payments business areas.
- Payments Knowledge: Awareness of activities and processes across Group Payments.
- Communication & Presentation: Present data clearly and appropriately to stakeholders.
- Ability to document data requirements, lineage, and governance controls.
- Continuous improvement mindset, leveraging data analytics and automation to drive innovation and operational excellence.
