Frazer Jones is pleased to be partnering with a large complex FTSE undergoing a pivotal transformation. The organisation is now focused on simplifying how it operates, leveraging technology and AI, and building a workforce capable of delivering its next phase of growth.
As part of this journey, we are partnering with the business to appoint a senior expert in strategic workforce planning and people insights. This represents a significant evolution of workforce management – moving beyond traditional planning into a forward‑looking, data‑led and commercially critical function.

Critically, this role will play a key part in redefining workforce strategy for the future – including understanding the impact of AI, evolving workforce models, and building a scalable, sustainable approach to workforce planning across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Set and evolve workforce strategy across the business
- Lead strategic workforce planning and modelling, determining what resources are required, how they should be sourced (internal vs external), and where they should be located

- Translate complex workforce and organisational data into clear, actionable insights, enabling informed decision‑making at senior level
- Partner closely with Finance, HR and business leadership to proactively solve workforce and skills challenges
- Lead workforce transformation activity, including evolving forecasting capability, enhancing tools and introducing more advanced, AI‑enabled approaches
- Build and lead a high‑performing insights and workforce team, driving capability, engagement and progression
- Create a scalable workforce model, with the potential to extend across broader areas of the business over time
The Impact
Success in this role will mean delivering a clear, data‑driven view of the future workforce, enabling the company to answer critical strategic questions:
- What skills and capabilities are required to deliver future business priorities?
- How should talent be sourced and deployed across the organisation?
- Where should roles be located to maximise efficiency and impact?
You will also play a key role in shaping career pathways, reskilling strategies and talent development, ensuring workforce strategy supports long‑term, sustainable careers and organisational growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep experience in strategic workforce planning, forecasting and organisational modelling within large, complex environments
- Strong data analytics capability, with the ability to translate data into meaningful, actionable insight
- Proven ability to work in partnership with senior stakeholders, influencing across business and finance
- Experience operating in transformation environments, ideally evolving workforce management capability or systems
- Comfortable working in environments that are both strategic and hands‑on, including building models and working with data where needed
