Senior Fintech & Compliance BA — Regulatory & Data Governance

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Senior Business Analyst (Fintech & Compliance) in London, UK. Lead business analysis for APPIT Software’s European operations, translating complex regulatory and enterprise requirements into technology solutions for fintech and compliance-driven products.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis for complex enterprise projects involving regulatory compliance and data governance
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and design thinking sessions to uncover latent business needs
• Create comprehensive business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI models for strategic initiatives
• Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to track the business impact of delivered solutions
• Mentor junior business analysts and establish BA best practices and documentation standards
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to shape the European product roadmap

Requirements

• 6+ years of business analysis experience with at least 2 years in fintech, banking, or regulated industries
• Strong understanding of GDPR, PSD2, and European regulatory frameworks relevant to software products
• Advanced data analysis skills with SQL, Python, or R for quantitative business analysis
• Experience leading business analysis on large-scale transformation or platform migration projects
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and present business cases to executive leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Nice to Have

• CBAP certification or MBA
• Experience with Open Banking APIs and payment processing systems
• Fluency in a second European language
