Join us as a Supplier Risk, Controls and Service Manager, where you’ll lead risk and control management, oversee governance, maintain the control library, and drive product reviews and change initiatives. You’ll work closely with directors and key partners across Legal, Operational Risk, and Product to deliver effective reporting and strengthen controls across the business.
Location
This role can be based in Manchester, London, Glasgow or Northampton.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in third‑party supplier/service management, including end‑to‑end oversight of supplier performance, governance and commercial arrangements.
- Strong expertise in risk and controls within a third‑party/supplier management environment, including identification, assessment and mitigation of operational, regulatory and customer risks.
- Demonstrable experience working with third‑party risk frameworks, including outsourcing, supplier lifecycle management and operational resilience requirements.
- Experience partnering with Legal, Procurement and Risk functions to establish, govern and manage supplier arrangements and contractual obligations.

Purpose of the role
To agree, implement, monitor and govern the terms and conditions of contractual agreements with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve the customer experience.
Accountabilities
- Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in supplier service management and use reporting data & insights to identify service areas that demonstrate potential customer harm.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate supplier service management processes.
- Develop and implement supplier service management procedures and controls to mitigate risks, maintain efficient operations and enhance customer experience.
- Develop reports and presentations on supplier service management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders and service recipients through relevant governance forums.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in supplier service management processes; provide feedback and coaching for colleagues on these highlighted areas.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve supplier service management efficiency and effectiveness; implement changes to service governance as a result of key changes.
- Manage relationships with third‑party suppliers, service providers and vendors that provide services to the bank and service recipients, as well as service management stakeholders across the bank.
- Monitor and negotiate contractual agreements, such as service level agreements, and govern the adherence of terms and conditions for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, costs and delivery.
