Location: Coventry, Leeds, Leicestershire, Northampton. Salary: £43,000-£47,000 depending on experience, plus company car and exceptional benefits. Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.

Overview

Clinic Activation Lead at Vetsource International (Mars). Ensures successful transition of veterinary clinics from sign-up to high-performing digital business, supporting digital transformation, home delivery, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Launch: Lead end-to-end setup of newly signed clinics across mainland UK, gather data, create online stores, and manage enrolment to successful launch.
  • Workflow Integration & Embedding: Build and implement bespoke clinical and administrative workflows with Front of House teams and veterinarians; integrate Vetsource tools into daily routines to promote adoption.
  • Clinic “Farming” & Optimisation: Identify under-performing accounts, develop strategies to increase home delivery usage and electronic product recommendations, and help clinics shift more medication and nutrition volume to the practice-branded online store.
  • In-House Training: Conduct intensive in-person training sessions for surgeons, nurses, managers, and reception staff to ensure full adoption of the platform.
  • Stakeholder Problem Solving: Act as expert for addressing clinic pain points and guide stakeholders through digital transition.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal Vetsource teams to ensure seamless handover from sale to activation and continuous platform improvements.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain real-time activation records in CRM, identify inefficiencies, and propose team improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in account management, onboarding, implementation, or customer success, ideally within veterinary, animal health, healthcare, or SaaS sectors.
  • Strong ability to work with veterinarians, nurses, practice managers, and client care teams to design and embed effective workflows.
  • Confident, credible trainer with experience delivering in‑practice training to multidisciplinary veterinary teams and driving sustained behaviour change.
  • Demonstrated success optimizing veterinary accounts, increasing digital adoption, home delivery usage, and electronic product recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills, able to resolve common practice pain points such as time pressures, client compliance, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, with experience managing a large territory, extensive travel, and autonomous scheduling to support clinics nationwide.

Travel & Working Conditions

Requires regular travel across the UK; expect several days per week on the road to meet customers and prospects. Candidates should be based in the Midlands with easy access to the M1/M6 to enable multi-directional travel. Overnight stays may be required depending on customer locations and meeting schedules.
