The Purpose:

The Academy Assistant Performance Analyst position is designed to support the development of players and coaches by providing high-quality performance analysis across all academy age groups.

The Role:

• Film training sessions and matches across multiple sites and age groups
• Code and analyse training and match footage using provided mark-ups
• Upload and manage footage on both internal servers and online platforms
• Maintain an organised archive of completed work
• Assist in identifying opposition and tactical trends
• Provide ad-hoc support to full-time performance analysis staff
• Commit to working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional long shifts, in line with the demands of the role

• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work with attention to detail
• Possesses a solid understanding of football, both technically and tactically
• Confident using performance analysis software such as Angles, Final Cut, Hudl, and Keynote
• Quick to learn and eager to develop new skills
• Proactive and able to work independently while following academy standards and policies
• Flexible and available to work during evenings, weekends, and unsociable hours
