Logistics/Admin Coordinator – Night Shift

Location: Dover (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour night shifts (7pm – 7am)

This role is ideal for someone with some experience or knowledge of the logistics or transport industry. You’ll be managing the daily operations of both import and export processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently overnight. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities as a Logistics Coordinator

  • Manage and monitor the progress of shipments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Handle all relevant shipment and customs documentation
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and procedures
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to implement best practices
  • Understand European driving regulations and bans, and how these impact transport planning
  • Escalate any transport delays or issues to the Team Leader, suggesting solutions to support effective client communication
  • Collaborate with the supplier management team to identify gaps in carrier coverage and maintain strong relationships with carriers
