Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at Kober! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton. Position Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, rotating morning (6:30am – 2:30pm) and afternoon (2:30pm – 10:30pm) shifts
- Location: Kober, Cleckheaton – Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Environment: High‑care, chilled meat processing facility specialising in production and packing of bacon
Your key responsibilities will include
- Review individual line team’s performance and feed it back to the supervisor/shift manager.
- Ensure that the correct colleagues are on the line and on time.
- Motivate the line team to ensure teamwork is used so that targets are met.
- Develop and train all members of the team.
- Ensure that all colleagues are treated with dignity in line with company policies, and support team members when needed.
- Check tare weights, recognise rejection faults and recognise mean weight issue.
- Use a label applicator following the label procedure, change the date and change the printing ribbon.
