Non-working Supervisor – Civil Engineering (Roads & Sewers)

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm (flexibility required)

Duration: 9-month contract

We are looking for an experienced non-working supervisor to oversee a civil engineering scheme in Milton Keynes. The project involves new road construction including drainage, 278 works and road building, with a tie-in to an existing highway. This is a well‑managed, high‑compliance scheme with a strong principal contractor.

The role

• Overseeing all on‑site activities across R&R, 278 and road building gangs
• Managing day‑to‑day compliance and programme delivery under the direction of the client’s PM
• Feeding into the H&S and RAMS process on site
• Acting as the first point of contact for our operatives on site

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising civil engineering works – roads and sewers essential
• Experience working on tier 1 contractor sites and familiar with their H&S standards
• Valid CSCS card (supervisor level)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• NRSWA supervisor ticket advantageous
