Salary Range: £28,000-£42,000 per annum

Purpose of the role
You will contribute to the delivery of various full-time programmes which are developed in partnership with renowned institutions such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary’s University Twickenham London, and others.
Main duties and responsibilities – Associate Lecturer
- Providing high quality teaching and learning across various programmes within a Higher Education setting, focusing on foundational aspects of your subject.
- Undergo training and shadowing of other lecturers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute actively to the development and continual improvement of courses.
- Participate in the creation of module-specific Scheme of Work and develop relevant module materials.
- Deliver subject-specific sessions in alignment with learning outcomes and syllabuses.
- Deploy assessments appropriately as outlined by the assessment team and provide timely formative feedback to students.
- Ensure compliance with Programme Specifications of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities.
- Produce module/unit reports and contribute to the School’s Research Department. Demonstrate effective communication with students from diverse backgrounds.
Main duties and responsibilities – Lecturer
- Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting, particularly Foundation year.
- Tutor students, offering appropriate support to enable them to achieve their goals and progress to positive destinations.
- Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
- Contribute to the production of module/unit-specific Scheme of Work.
- Develop module materials for each of the modules being undertaken.
- Provide, deliver, or facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules.
- Deploy assessments appropriately as set out by the assessment team.
- Set out measures to understand the learning needs of students on their modules.
- Support students with timely formative feedback to the extent prescribed by each of the program specifications.
- Mark and provide summative feedback within the prescribed deadline published by the Assessment Team.
- Ensure that all expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught are met.
- Produce appropriate module/unit reports.
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with students from diverse background.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
- Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level.
- Work in line with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams / Zoom.
- Experience working in the industry of your subject.
- Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
- Competence in teaching Economics and Statistics will be considered an added advantage.
