About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team supporting a market‑leading practice. Our UK corporate practice, with about 80 partners and 250 lawyers, is one of the most sought after for advising on transactions in the UK and across Europe and regularly tops the M&A and equity capital markets league tables. Its funds & indirect real assets team is considered market leading by all major directories. The firm’s sector leader for Hospitality, Travel & Leisure also sit within the corporate practice group and are supported by its BD team.

Under energetic and ambitious leadership the corporate team is looking to further boost its market profile, leverage firm‑wide client relationships and land roles on headline transactions. You would be part of a team of five business development professionals supporting the corporate partners on making these ambitions come to life. You would also be involved in supporting the Hospitality, Travel and Leisure sector BD lead including attending sector meetings, arranging events, supporting on campaigns and pitches and assorted other activities.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Campaigns: support on the development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Events: support and organise seminars, webinars and client social events
  • Client targeting: support activities aimed at targeting potential clients and further developing existing clients
  • Pitching: execute proposals
  • BD infrastructure: to maintain and work with BD infrastructure, including standard pitch content, credentials database and client relationship management software
  • Directory and award submissions: support on directory and awards submissions

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have some previous Marketing & BD experience within a professional services environment and will possess strong written and numerical skills, with the ability to present complex information and concepts in a clear and concise manner. Grasping, retaining and analysing complex information and concepts. A proactive can‑do approach with a drive to support the growth of our business.
