We are looking for a talented and inspiring Learning Coach to join our growing team in Redditch.

Salary – £25,334 – £28,765 (Pay scale points 18 – 23) (actual gross p/a)

Reporting to – Tutors/Quality Manager

Contract – Full Time, Term Time, Permanent

Note: This is a term time only role; you will be required to work during term time only, taking all college holidays. The salary range stated above is a pro‑rata salary that already takes this into account, and the £ range stated is therefore the actual salary range for this position, with no further pro‑rata reductions to be applied for term time only working. We are also currently operating a pilot 4‑day week (subject to review and not a contractual entitlement), meaning all staff enjoy a 3‑day weekend Friday – Sunday, every week.

About the role

Working as part of our dynamic Teaching & Learning team, you will play a vital role in supporting learners both in college and in real‑world environments. You will work alongside tutors in the classroom and beyond, delivering tailored support, creating engaging learning experiences, and helping learners build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support learners in college and in real‑world settings to achieve academic, vocational, and life‑skills goals.
  • Collaborate with tutors to implement tailored support plans.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning activities that build confidence and independence.
  • Facilitate the development of essential life skills and employability competencies.
  • Model positive behaviour, act as a role model, and build strong relationships with learners.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a learning or coaching environment, preferably with young adults or SEND learners.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for helping learners achieve their goals and thrive.
  • Ability to adapt support strategies to individual learner needs.
