Working Foreman – Highway Improvements

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Foreman/Ganger for a long-term Highway Improvement Project on the A4 in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on foreman with highways and confined spaces experience looking for long‑term work leading gangs of groundworkers on a major infrastructure scheme.

Essential Requirements

• CSCS Gold Supervisor Card
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• SWQR/EUSR
• Confined Spaces (Medium/High Risk)
• Proven Highways Experience
• Strong leadership and health & safety awareness
• CAT & Genny Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating gangs on site
• Working alongside operatives where required
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high health & safety standards
• Liaising with site management and reporting progress

PPE Requirements

• Full Orange 5-Point PPE
• Hard Hat
• Orange Hi-Vis
• Safety Boots
• Work Trousers
• Long Sleeve Top

Location & Duration

A4 – Bristol. Potential 18‑month work. Orange PPE required.
