Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee daily operations, lead large teams, and ensure the highest service standards across multiple contracts. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines people management, client engagement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Cleaning Supervisors and Operatives (15+ staff depending on site).
  • Ensure high‑quality service delivery across cleaning, soft services, and facilities contracts.
  • Schedule and conduct audits and inspections, whilst driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and cost efficiencies across sites.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, including conducting training and enforcing safe practices.
  • Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Support induction, and development of staff.
  • Oversee scheduling, rotas, and staff cover to ensure service continuity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cleaning/management leadership role (healthcare, education, commercial, or industrial preferred).
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, industrial cleaning practices, and health & safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential for multi‑site travel).
  • Right to Work in the UK (required).
  • Enhanced DBS is required for this role
