About the Role
The Business Development Executive will acquire new Financial Counterparty KYC customers in the South EMEA Region. You’ll prospect and grow revenue within a defined geographic market, collaborate closely with the regional sales team, and travel to support customers and attend industry events.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new B2B clients across the EMEA region.
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, event participation, and other innovative approaches.
- Manage and convert inbound leads within your assigned territory.
- Lead consultative sales processes, including product demonstrations, presentations, and responses to tenders.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition and use cases of the product portfolio.
- Negotiate, draft, and finalize sales agreements.
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory updates, competitive landscape, and new product developments.
- Maintain a healthy and up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Accurately document client interactions, pipeline status, and forecasts using Salesforce CRM.
- Leverage sales tools such as Salesforce, Lusha, and Gong to enhance productivity and insights.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory (additional languages are a plus).
- Demonstrated experience in B2B business development.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in the identification fraud industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data or SaaS sales within the EMEA region.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or similar frameworks.
