We are recognised for our technical expertise, dependable service, and the strong relationships we build with our trade customers.We are currently recruiting a Counter Sales Advisor to join our Balmoral (Belfast) Plumbmaster branch. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful and growing specialist merchant, offering a stable working environment alongside strong development and progression opportunities.Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service at the trade counter
- Advise customers on plumbing and heating materials, offering appropriate product solutions
- Process sales transactions accurately using tills and internal systems
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised branch environment
- Support stock control, merchandising, and teamwork across the branch
- Identify sales opportunities and assist customers with technical product queries
About You
- Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service or trade counter environment
- Good knowledge of plumbing materials and products (or willingness to learn and develop)
- Proactive, reliable, and sales-driven with strong attention to detail
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
