The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join the business in a key leadership position within the finance function. Working closely with the GM, this role offers significant exposure across the organisation and the opportunity to influence strategic direction. This is an ideal move for an accountant looking to step into a senior role with responsibility for strengthening financial controls, driving process improvements, and leading a high-performing finance team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee financial accounting operations
- Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Manage audits, tax compliance and financial controls
- Provide financial insight to support business decisions
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Maintain relationships with auditors, banks and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Leadership Skills
- Strong IT Skills – Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
