HGV Class 2 Driver – Fresh Produce Distribution

Position Details:
- Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
- Location: West Belfast
- Duration: Temporary to Permanent
- Pay Rate: £14.74 per hour
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm + alternate Saturdays

Duties:
- Deliver fresh produce to restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle confidently on planned multi-drop routes
- Unload goods with care to maintain product quality
- Provide excellent, friendly customer service on every delivery
- Complete daily vehicle checks and reports any issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records, PODs, and logs
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle
- Support the team during busy periods or tight schedules
- Lorries pre-loaded in delivery sequence prior to driver arrival
Essential Requirements:
- Clean, valid HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- Strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
- Full flexibility due to business needs
- Clean driving licence
Desirable:
- Pallet truck/forklift licence
- COSHH / Health & Safety awareness
- Food hygiene knowledge
