Radius have partnered with Belfast Metropolitan College, and we would like to invite applications for the following Apprenticeship role within our ICT team.
Apprentice Cyber Security Technician (Higher Level Apprenticeship)
As an Apprentice within our ICT team, we will provide you with a network of support, including expert supervision, and offer significant scope for professional and personal growth and development.

The post holder will support the Radius ICT team in monitoring for attacks, intrusions or illegal activity, whilst support the roll out and reporting on the company wide Cyber Awareness program. The post holder will also be required to work with 3rd parties and the wider ICT team to identify potential weaknesses and implement measures.
Hours: 37 hours per week (this will be inclusive of 4 days at work and one at college)

The Association
Radius Housing provides quality and affordable social housing in over 80 towns and cities throughout Northern Ireland. We provide a range of services from sheltered housing for the over 55s and general needs housing for families and single people, as well as specialist care and support facilities for the frail, elderly, people with dementia and learning disabilities and other complex needs.
Criteria
To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
1. Good general level of education equating to 64 tariff points.
AND
GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications, such as Level 2 Essential Skills in Communication and Numeracy.
2. Committed to enrolling on and completing a Level 5 Foundation Degree – Higher Level Apprenticeship in Cyber Security with Cloud and Network Infrastructure at Belfast Metropolitan College.
3. Good level of IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft office 365.
4. A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport*
(*where an applicant indicates that a disability prohibits them from driving, this criterion will be waived at the shortlisting stage. In such circumstances, consideration will be given in any subsequent offer of appointment to suitable alternative arrangements that the candidate may be able to put in place that would enable them to meet the travel requirements for the post).
