Overview
Orange Malone is exclusively partnering with a growing and ambitious insurance provider in the South West to appoint a Head of Commercial Actuarial. This is a newly created leadership role at a pivotal time for the business. You’ll work closely with the Chief Actuary, taking ownership of pricing, product development, and product enhancement strategy. The position calls for a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical actuarial expertise, and commercial acumen, with a focus on driving growth, profitability, and innovation across Protection products. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Pricing Actuary looking to step into a high-impact role within a forward-thinking organisation.
Location: South West (candidates should be locally based or able to spend the majority of the week in the office)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of pricing, product development, and product enhancement strategy.
- Work closely with the Chief Actuary to shape pricing, product strategy and delivery.
- Drive growth, profitability and innovation across Protection products through blended strategic and actuarial thinking.
