We are working with a leading international firm who are seeking a Associate Solicitor to join their Construction, Engineering & Projects team within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a top-ranked Contentious Construction practice, supporting both international and domestic clients on complex, high-value construction disputes. The candidate will work on a range of contentious matters, including UK adjudications, arbitrations, and TCC litigation, as well as undertaking dispute advisory work, such as ADR.
Responsibilities also include dealing with a range of claims (including final account and delay claims, quality of build claims, and construction insolvency) and advising a range of stakeholders in relation to dispute avoidance and resolution mechanisms. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
- 2+ PQE;
- Strong background in contentious construction work, and in particular working on UK adjudications and/or arbitration;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
