Enterprise Architect

We’re working with a large, complex UK organisation looking to hire a senior Enterprise Architect to shape and own its long‑term technology strategy.

This role sits at a group level and focuses on setting the overall technology direction, ensuring systems are joined up, scalable, and fit for future growth. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and suppliers, acting as the authority on major technology decisions and helping balance innovation, risk, and cost.

Key focus areas

• Defining the future technology landscape and architecture roadmaps
• Guiding major IT and digital investment decisions
• Simplifying and modernising a complex estate (IT and operational systems)
• Influencing senior stakeholders across the business
• Setting standards and governance for how technology is designed and delivered

What they’re looking for

• Strong background in enterprise‑level architecture
• Experience working in large, regulated or operationally critical environments
• Broad technology knowledge (cloud, on‑prem, hybrid)
• Comfortable operating at exec / leadership level

The role requires 4 days per week on-site at the client’s HQ, so please only apply if this is viable.
