Haart, one of the UK’s leading independent estate agents, is looking for a Lettings Area Director to manage multiple branches across North London.
You will inspire and develop high‑performing teams, drive sustained business growth, and uphold exceptional compliance standards—all within a company that invests in your progression and success.
Benefits of being a Lettings Area Director at haart Estate Agents in North London:
- Complete on‑target earnings of £120,000 +
- £40,000 – £60,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
- £3,500 for your first 3 months of employment, whilst you build your pipeline
- Uncapped commission scheme
- A company car, or a monthly car allowance
- Elite bonus scheme
- Full‑time working hours: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday‑Friday

- Ensure the business is risk‑averse and follows the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies.
- Be a confident, influential, and diplomatic leader with a positive attitude and drive, and possess significant experience in multi‑branch lettings management.
- Have a clear understanding of current lettings legislation.
- Drive the performance, personal development and day‑to‑day management of your team.
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
- Be articulate, pragmatic, analytical and solutions‑focused, with exceptional drive and enthusiasm.
- Be a high performer who is KPI‑driven, an excellent recruiter and developer of people.
Essential Skills of a Lettings Area Director at haart Estate Agents in North London:
- Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within residential lettings at a branch manager position or higher
- Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment
- Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively with and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and each other
- Ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
- Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
- A strong understanding of current legislation related to residential lettings
- Ability to manage time‑sensitive and high‑volume workloads
- A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Good telephone manner
- Strong IT skills (basic Microsoft packages)
- Attention to detail
