Country & Town House is looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive to build our growing digital team. Reporting into the Digital Director, the Social Media Marketing Executive is responsible for bringing Country & Town House’s brand vision to life across our social media channels and deliver on paid social campaigns, with creative video editing, image curation and engaging caption creation to increase engagement, share our brand vision and attract a new audience to the brand. The role will involve a mixture of original content creation and support with editing and publishing for the print and events team to bring our issues and events to life for a social audience.
The ideal candidate will be bursting with ideas and be able to translate the Country & Town House voice to the highly visual social media platforms in new and exciting ways. We are looking for someone with a social media background who excels at story telling but lives and breathes brand marketing, who is fluent in Meta Suites and understands the trends while acknowledging the importance of holding on to brand identity and finding formats that resonate with our audience and our target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Capturing, editing and publishing original content for Country & Town House’s social media channels to promote the C&TH magazines and events
- Coming up with ideas for how the business can bring their issues and events to life on social media channels to help them reach the right audiences
- Managing the social marketing schedule for the Country & Town House channels, in collaboration with the digital editorial team
- Run paid social media campaigns to reach results on commercial and in-house projects
- Manage marketing budgets on Meta Suite campaigns
- Pitching in with ideas on commercial partnerships with a social media angle
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Strong and demonstrable video and picture editing skills for social media
- Experience working with editing software such as Canva and scheduling platforms such as Later
- Strong editorial / caption-writing skills
- Comfortable working on meta suite and managing paid social campaigns and brand partnerships
Desirable
- A degree in marketing, digital media or other relevant fields
- Experience in a similar role, whether brand or editorial-side
