Job Description:

The role holder is accountable for identifying, developing, and converting new sales opportunities into long‑term customer relationships for Novaco Navigation and United Navigation services across southeastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and other agreed strategic regions.

You will take full ownership of regional commercial performance, balancing new business acquisition with the active development and retention of existing customer accounts ensuring sustained revenue growth, strong margins, and exceptional customer satisfaction aligned with company strategy.

Novaco Navigation is a specialist Software development and marine information services company delivering critical navigational data to ships worldwide. Reporting accountability

The role reports directly to the Managing Director, with high visibility, autonomy, and influence over regional strategy and commercial outcomes.

Key accountabilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritise high‑value market and customer opportunities
  • Develop and execute a clear regional market and sales plan, aligned with company objectives
  • Secure new customer accounts and consistently deliver orders in line with budget and growth targets
  • Act as an ambassador for Novaco’s brand, values, and services, strengthening market presence and reputation
  • Own the end‑to‑end management of assigned customer accounts, including order acceptance, accurate recording, fulfilment, and after‑sales service
  • Build strong, trusted customer relationships that drive repeat business and long‑term partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the development and launch of new products and services, unlocking additional revenue opportunities
  • Implement sales initiatives and actively drive performance against agreed KPIs and company targets
  • Provide timely commercial insights and forecasts to senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making

Key attributes

You are likely to succeed in this role if you bring:

  • A proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Strong drive, resilience, and ambition to lead and accelerate sales growth across the UNL Group
  • Solid knowledge of the marine navigation, maritime services, or related information services market
  • A demonstrable track record of successful B2B sales, ideally in international or regional markets
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, both verbal and written
  • Sound commercial judgement with financial literacy and comfort managing revenue targets
  • A professional, credible presence with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Formal academic or professional education (desirable but not essential if experience is strong)
