Private Client Solicitor (Offshore)

The Role

The appointed Solicitor will advise international private clients on English & Welsh legal and UK tax matters, including UK relocation, international wealth structuring, trusts, succession planning, cross-border wills, and UK asset transactions. Responsibilities include drafting wills and trust documentation, coordinating with advisers across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with private client and disputes teams, managing ongoing client relationships, and supporting business development and practice growth.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years’ PQE in private client work, ideally with experience in offshore, international, or cross‑border matters. You will bring strong expertise in advising high net worth and ultra high net worth international clients. STEP qualification is desirable, although a commitment to undertake a STEP qualification will also be considered. The role requires excellent technical ability, drafting precision, and strong organisational skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively. A proactive, commercially minded approach to business development and networking is also essential.
