What You’ll Do

  • Lead marketing effectiveness for M&S Fashion, Home & Beauty by ensuring every digital investment delivers measurable growth.
  • Own the measurement frameworks, tools, and insights that drive smarter decisions, optimise ROI, and shape future strategy.
  • Act as the link between Marketing, Data, and Technology—turning complex data into clear actions that influence leadership and accelerate digital performance.
  • Lead Marketing Effectiveness: Own our approach to econometrics and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), translating insights into actionable strategies that drive growth.
  • Performance Frameworks: Design and improve tools and dashboards to monitor marketing effectiveness, ensuring KPIs clearly link media inputs to business outcomes.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Turn complex data into compelling narratives that influence senior leadership and shape investment decisions.
  • Champion Test & Learn: Drive a culture of experimentation across channels to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Martech & Technology Integration: Act as the bridge between Marketing and Digital Technology—embedding new tools, enabling AI and automation, and ensuring seamless integration of our tech stack. Manage platform tagging and integrations for digital marketing platforms, ensuring accurate tracking and robust measurement.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee partnerships, governance, and compliance to maintain high standards across platforms.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Data Science, Technology, and agency partners to deliver innovation and measurable impact.

Who You Are

  • Deep expertise in digital marketing performance, econometrics, and attribution models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience forecasting investment needs and optimising spend.
  • Proven ability to design and lead test‑and‑learn programmes.
  • Technical fluency in marketing technology platforms, DSPs, tagging/tracking frameworks, and integrations.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable driving change and innovation in fast‑evolving digital environments.
