Marketing Manager (Digital Focus).

About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Marketing Manager with a strong digital skillset to join a growing travel/tour operator business. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will combine creativity with data-driven decision-making and have experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Lead digital marketing activity, including paid media (PPC, display, social), SEO, email marketing, and website optimisation
- Analyse campaign performance and customer data to drive continuous improvement and ROI
- Manage and optimise the company website, ensuring strong UX, conversion rates, and SEO performance
- Collaborate with sales, product, and commercial teams to align marketing activity with business objectives
- Oversee content strategy, including social media, blogs, and customer communications
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights within the travel sector
- Support brand development and ensure consistency across all marketing channels
- Manage marketing team, budgets and report on performance against KPIs
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Digital Marketing role
- People management experience, oversight on a team of 5-7 people.
- Strong digital marketing expertise across paid media, SEO, CRM/email, and analytics
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and CRM platforms
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience managing budgets and delivering measurable ROI
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience within the travel industry, tour operator, or leisure sector
- Knowledge of customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing
- Experience with marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with booking systems or e-commerce platforms
