  • Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to recruit a Principal Engineer to lead our burgeoning Healthcare portfolio, consisting of 5 Hard FM contracts with NHS Trusts in: Glasgow, North East England, Reading and London.

    As the Principal Engineer you will look to ensure engineering systems, infrastructure and compliance frameworks meet statutory, safety and performance and contractual standards whilst delivering to client requirements. The role delivers authoritative engineering guidance to the Healthcare SLT, supports safe patient care environments and upholds ISS technical standards in alignment with national NHS engineering governance.

    The role will also line manage a small Asset Management team.

    We do require strong knowledge of the Healthcare HTMs regulations and a CEng level of qualification.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare established Senior Engineer to join a major segment of a UK leading FM provider.

    Actions will include:

    • Interpret compliance gaps and create rectification and recovery plans for KAPDs
    • Deliver assurance reviews and build action plans with account technical leads and KADs
    • Lead (operationally) technical investigations
    • Produce engineering reports for SPVs, NHS Trusts and regulators
    • Challenge poor practice and enforce engineering discipline and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
    • Build trust with SPVs / NHS estates teams and clinical stakeholders
    • Grow and maintain technical excellence across healthcare accounts

    We need from you:

    • Clear experience within Healthcare Engineering and CEng level qualification
