What they’re looking for: Strong SQL and Python skills Background in data journalism, investigative research, OSINT, analytics, or data-focused reporting Experience working with complex or unreliable datasets Strong attention to detail and a sceptical, investigative mindset Someone who cares about accuracy, methodology, and real-world meaning behind the data Bonus: experience with corporate, financial, regulatory, risk, or ownership data
