Job Description:

Cambridge , UK(Hybrid) Duration: 6 months The role involves supporting the design and development of innovative drug delivery devices across the product pipeline and portfolio. Key responsibilities include technical assessments, tolerance analysis, FEA simulations, 3D CAD design, engineering drawings, Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews, supplier collaboration for component optimisation, and material selection. The position also requires ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems and supporting technical complaint/adverse event reporting processes

Provide support for the design and development of drug delivery devices for pipeline and portfolio of products Carry out technical assessments for drug delivery devices, including tolerance analysis, and functional performance mathematical modelling and FEA simulations Carry out detailed design for components and systems (including 3D CAD and engineering drawings) from prototype stage to commercial tooling Input into Design for Manufacture review of components and devices Demonstrate compliance with SDDC’s Quality Management System Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to *** products within 24 hours of receipt

Experience of developing high-volume products , ideally medical or drug delivery devices; High level of proficiency in 3D CAD systems; preferably SolidWorks Experience and knowledge of Tolerance Analysis Technical writing skills Understanding of quality control and risk management Knowledge of assembly processes and good DFMA skills Masters, PhD, or university degree in the field of engineering or other relevant subjects
