Network Engineer
Location: Portsmouth (4 days onsite / 1 day remote)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + benefits
Travel: Nationwide travel required
Chapman Tate Associates are proud to be partnering with a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) to recruit a talented Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco and Aruba technologies.

The Role
As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, deployment, and support of complex network infrastructures, primarily leveraging Cisco and Aruba technologies. You will work both on-site in Portsmouth and across client locations throughout the UK, supporting a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, configure, and support Cisco and Aruba network solutions
– Deliver network implementation and upgrade projects for clients nationwide
– Provide 2nd/3rd line support for network-related incidents and service requests
– Perform network troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance optimisation
– Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure high service delivery standards
– Maintain network documentation and ensure best practices are followed
– Support pre-sales activities when required (solution design, technical input)
Key Skills & Experience
– Strong hands-on experience with:
– Cisco networking (routing, switching, firewalls)
– Aruba networking solutions (WLAN, switching, ClearPass is a plus)
– TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, WAN/LAN environments
– Network security principles
– Experience working within an MSP or multi-client environment (highly desirable)
– Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / Aruba ACMA / ACMP are advantageous
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
– Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
