Senior/ Managing Quantity Surveyor If so, due to continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth in all business sectors, and we are looking to recruit a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor with a successful background in the world of Construction.

You will join our Commercial team supporting a variety of projects in Nottingham and Surrounding Areas.

Based In Nottingham, You will support financial management of Contracts, in partnership with the Contracts Managers and/ or Project Managers.

Vet contract documentation on receipt from Client to ensure compatibility with the Company’s Tender and subsequent negotiations Produce Commercial Risk Register for each contract. Monitor risk and assist in implementation of agreed mitigation measures Prepare and issue enquiries for Major Plant & Equipment and Sub-Contract packages. Measure, submit and agree Variations, Loss & Expense and/or Compensation Events in accordance with contractual provisions to facilitate prompt agreement of Final Accounts Attend Contract Review Meetings Authorisation and coding of Suppliers’ and Sub-Contractors’ Invoices and submission to Finance for payment Measure, certify and agree Sub-Contractors interim valuations and final accounts. Prepare and issue contractual notices to Sub-Contractors . A senior quantity surveyor who has a successful construction portfolio Educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline) Have knowledge and working experience of Mechanical / Electrical services and/ or utilities Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness/ acumen
