We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team, working on a range of residential developments from concept through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for building services engineering and sustainable design to contribute to high-quality housing projects.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specification of mechanical building services, including heating, ventilation, and domestic water systems
• Produce detailed calculations (heat loss, pipe sizing, ventilation rates, etc.)
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Attend site visits, inspections, and project meetings
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and relevant standards
• Support project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in residential or mixed-use developments

Required Skills

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidelines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Working towards or holding professional accreditation (e.g., CEng or IEng) is desirable
