We’re hiring a Structural Engineer to join our residential team and take ownership of structural surveys, reports, and design work across London. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s done their time in residential engineering, knows their way around a Victorian terrace, and is ready to run their own projects start to finish.
Carry out structural surveys and inspections across London, mostly residential, occasionally light commercial Liaise directly with homeowners, architects, contractors, building surveyors, and Building Control Manage your own caseload of live projects, with support from the wider team
3-5 years of experience in residential structural engineering in the UK, ideally London~ Confident with timber, steel, and masonry design for residential alterations and extensions~ Working knowledge of Tekla Tedds and AutoCAD or Revit for drawings~ Easygoing, warm, and able to explain structural decisions to people who don’t speak engineering~ Available to start immediately or with short notice
