Class 2 HIAB Drivers

Driver Hire Huddersfield are looking for Class 2 HIAB drivers for clients based in the Kirklees area of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Meltham and Holmfirth. These roles involve delivering building materials, timber and landscaping products around the North to both commercial and residential sites. Some manual handling will be involved as there could be some heavy lifting. In addition to driving duties, there may be some yard work, so some flexibility will be required.Role Usually week day hours Monday to Friday day workPerform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting offEnsure that the vehicle and it’s cargo get to their destination safely.Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered. Requirements Be in possession of a Cat C (Class 2) UK driving licenceHIAB CertificationHave a current CPC and Digital Tachograph CardBe able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UKHave no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.
