Business Program Manager – Logistics Operations

Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday onsite

£36.54 PAYE per hour

Contract until March 2027

We are partnering with a globally recognised technology organisation to hire a highly organised and operationally focused Business Program Manager to support complex international logistics and shipping operations across cross-functional teams.

This role sits at the intersection of program management, logistics operations, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring critical shipments, documentation, and operational workflows move efficiently through the global logistics pipeline.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and track global logistics and shipment workflows from request through to final delivery
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, engineering/research teams, vendors, and external suppliers
  • Ensure shipping documentation and customs paperwork are completed accurately and compliantly
  • Monitor logistics pipelines for delays, risks, and bottlenecks, escalating issues proactively
  • Drive operational process improvements and support automation initiatives where possible
  • Maintain high levels of visibility through tracking tools, spreadsheets, and reporting systems
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational execution
  • Support program reporting, metrics tracking, and stakeholder communications
  • Ensure alignment with internal compliance, governance, and operational policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Program Management, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Project Coordination
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing complex operational workflows independently
  • Exposure to international shipping, logistics coordination, customs documentation, or supply chain operations
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
  • Strong Excel / spreadsheet and tracking tool experience
  • Experience identifying operational risks and driving process improvements
  • Knowledge of shipping processes and Incoterms is highly advantageous
