We’re Hiring: Client Procurement Analyst
Location: Guildford / Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
We are looking for a Client Procurement Analyst to join our Procurement Support Operations team, supporting account managers and internal stakeholders across the food and catering sector.
This is a hands‑on role focused on price benchmarking, supplier price reviews, reporting, and day‑to‑day data analysis. The role involves working closely with pricing data to validate accuracy, investigate anomalies, and turn analysis into clear, usable insight for the business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with detail, solving problems, and questioning data rather than simply processing it. Strong Excel capability and a logical, analytical mindset are far more important than highly technical analytics experience.
✅ What you’ll be doing
- Completing price benchmarking and supplier price review analysis across client accounts
- Validating supplier and client pricing data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identifying discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies within pricing data
- Highlighting potential savings opportunities through benchmarking and price review analysis
- Producing clear, accurate reports for internal stakeholders and account teams
- Supporting contract implementation and ongoing pricing updates
- Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to clarify and sense‑check information
- Supporting improvements to reporting, data quality, and operational processes
What we’re looking for
- Confidence using Excel on a daily basis, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs
- Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach to data
- Ability to manage multiple pieces of work and deadlines simultaneously
- A proactive, curious mindset with the confidence to question data and challenge inconsistencies
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
- Experience in procurement, pricing, commercial support, benchmarking, or foodservice (Nice to have)
