The Opportunity
This is not a traditional Quantity Surveying role.
You will be working on highly technical engineering projects where commercial success is closely tied to construction methodology, sequencing, engineering delivery, and risk management.
The successful candidate will join a specialist commercial team delivering major concrete and heavy civils packages alongside Tier 1 contractors, developers, and leading engineering businesses across the UK.

Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of specialist concrete and civil engineering packages
- NEC contract administration and management
- Procurement and subcontractor management
- Cost forecasting, reporting, and margin control
- Variations, change control, and final accounts
- Supporting project delivery teams on commercial strategy
- Managing client and main contractor relationships
- Reviewing construction methodologies and project sequencing
- Risk and opportunity management across live projects
Requirements:
- 4–10 years Quantity Surveying experience within the UK construction market
- Strong heavy civils or structural concrete experience
- Experience within concrete frames, large concrete structures, infrastructure, or specialist subcontracting environments
- NEC contract experience is essential
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and technical engineering delivery
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
