Junior Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our team in an extreme entry-level capacity. This role is designed for individuals starting their career in business analysis and consulting. Full training and mentorship will be provided. The position focuses on supporting data collection, documentation, reporting, and basic business process analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering basic business requirements from stakeholders
• Support documentation of processes, workflows, and system requirements
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, and simple data summaries
• Assist in analyzing basic datasets to identify trends and insights
• Participate in meetings and take structured notes
• Support project teams with administrative and coordination tasks
• Maintain accurate documentation of business analysis activities
• Learn and apply business analysis tools and techniques

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Basic understanding of business processes and data concepts
• Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment
• No prior professional experience required (training provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to academic projects or internships in business, IT, or analytics
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel or basic reporting tools
• Basic understanding of SQL or data concepts is a plus
• Interest in tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
• Awareness of Agile or project management basics
