Job Description:

At TWMAD (Together We Make A Difference), we support vulnerable children and young people through mentoring, intervention and residential/emergency provision.

We are currently developing our residential and stabilisation provision and are looking for emotionally intelligent, resilient and relationship-focused individuals to join our growing team.

This role is about far more than supervision.

We are looking for people who can:

• Build trust with young people

• Remain calm during difficult moments

• Support emotional wellbeing and stability

• Maintain strong safeguarding awareness

• Communicate professionally

• Bring positive energy and consistency to young people’s lives

  • Our work is relationship-led, trauma-informed and built around safeguarding, accountability and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience within residential care, mentoring, education, youth work, safeguarding or SEMH is beneficial, however attitude, professionalism and values are equally important.

Starting Pay: £13.50 per hour (Trainee pathway available)

Role Purpose

To provide safe, consistent and relationship-led support to children and young people within TWMAD’s residential and emergency provision.

Key Responsibilities

·      Build positive and trusted relationships with young people

·      Support emotional regulation and wellbeing

·      Promote routines, structure and positive engagement

·      Maintain safeguarding awareness at all times

·      Complete reports and documentation professionally

·      Support behaviour management and de-escalation

·      Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals

·      Maintain calm and professional conduct

·      Support placement stability and emotional safety

·      Follow all TWMAD policies and procedures
