Senior Azure Platform Engineer

With innovation, security, and collaboration at the heart of what they do, they’re now looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to help shape and scale critical cloud platforms supporting real-world operational outcomes.
Role Overview:
- Location: Farnborough (Primarily Remote / Hybrid)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and managing secure Azure infrastructure across Kubernetes, networking, storage, databases, and virtual machines
- Building scalable, resilient cloud platforms in highly secure environments
- Leading the development of CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability
- Managing hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity including VPNs, BGP routing, and Virtual WAN configurations
- Driving automation through Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps tooling
- Supporting Kubernetes environments and container orchestration for secure application delivery
- Implementing monitoring and performance management solutions across platform services
- Working closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to deliver robust technical solutions
- Advising development teams on platform best practice, scalability, and security
- Continuously improving platform reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency
Main Skills Needed:
- Strong experience in Azure Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Hands-on Azure expertise across AKS, private networking, governance/policy management, Log Analytics, monitoring, Sentinel, and KQL
- Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration experience
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code capability is essential
- CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tooling
- Strong understanding of Azure networking including VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, BGP Routing, and Private Endpoints
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 and/or AZ-305 would be highly beneficial
- Experience driving automation and improving operational efficiency
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance
