A leading maritime engineering and technology company is seeking an IT Support Administrator to join its growing IT team. Supporting a modern and fast-paced operational environment, this role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies within an innovative engineering business delivering advanced maritime solutions.
The successful candidate will provide first and second line support, assist with systems administration, and help ensure secure and efficient IT operations across the organisation. The position will involve both onsite and remote support, infrastructure maintenance, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, networks, and business systems
- Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, user accounts, and Group Policy
- Configure and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and IT infrastructure
- Maintain cybersecurity controls including MFA, patching, endpoint protection, and encryption
- Manage IT assets, software licensing, onboarding/offboarding, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with external IT providers and support IT projects and system improvements
Experience Required
- Experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Support
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft and cloud environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory, networking, Microsoft 365, and Azure
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and security-focused approach
Highly Desirable
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001
- Microsoft or CompTIA certifications
- Experience working with MSPs
