Fire & Security Role: Are you a Fire & Security Service Engineer working with integrated fire and security systems?

Paying up to £48k

What can you expect as an employee:

  • A basic salary of £38k-£48k, depending on experience.
  • OTE of £44k-£54k.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Proven field experience in service engineering, with 5 years minimum fire and security systems experience preferred.
  • Experience servicing and maintaining integrated fire and security systems across commercial, retail and luxury residential sites.
  • Strong fault-finding ability with an analytical and methodical approach.
  • The ability to read technical diagrams and manuals confidently.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills and a professional approach on site.
  • Experience completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation.
  • Advanced diagnostic techniques and fault-finding best practice would be desirable.
  • Experience with remote monitoring platforms and software tools would be desirable.
  • Working knowledge of current British Standards and compliance requirements would be desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Health and safety records.
  • ECS or CSCS card.
  • NVQ Apprenticeship or equivalent industry qualification.
  • FIA or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of NSI, SSAIB and BAFE standards.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.

About the role:

This is a Fire & Security Service Engineer role based in London, working for a forward-thinking, growing company that truly cares about its engineers.

This is not a tick-box maintenance role. You will be the expert on site, diagnosing complex faults, optimising high-spec systems and building genuine trust with high-end clients.

You will be servicing and maintaining integrated fire and security systems across commercial, retail and luxury residential sites, while owning your diary for PPM visits. You will also have the full backing of the technical team when you need support.

Day to day, you will be diagnosing and resolving complex faults, carrying out regular system performance checks and optimisations, and completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation.
