Quantity Surveyor – Prime Residential Refurbishment

Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing, design-led property developer specialising in high-end residential refurbishments across Prime Central London.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team delivering exceptional private client and development projects from concept through to completion. The business operates across architecture, interior design, project management and construction management, giving the team genuine involvement across the full project lifecycle.

The company has built a strong reputation for delivering bespoke residential schemes with an emphasis on quality, detail and client experience. Their projects range from luxury apartment refurbishments and listed buildings through to multi-unit developments and complex prime residential renovations.

Based from a relaxed and dynamic office near Oxford Street, they are now looking to appoint a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor to oversee multiple live projects simultaneously, typically ranging from £1m–£2m in value.

The Role

You will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the in-house delivery, design and construction teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple high-end residential refurbishment projects
  • Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
  • Cost reporting and commercial management throughout delivery
  • Variations, valuations and final accounts
  • Tender analysis and procurement strategy
  • Supporting project delivery teams to ensure programmes and budgets are maintained
  • Liaising directly with clients, consultants and subcontractors
  • Financial reporting across live projects

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will likely come from a luxury residential contractor, boutique developer or construction management background and must have experience delivering high-end refurbishment projects within the UK market.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience within prime/high-end residential refurbishment
  • Experience managing projects from estimation through to final account
  • Strong subcontract procurement and package management experience
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
  • Stable career history within residential construction

This role would suit someone looking to move into a more agile, collaborative and design-focused environment with genuine autonomy and exposure across all stages of development and delivery.
