Camino Partners are currently partnered with a highly specialised, international recruitment business in the offshore energy sector looking to hire a Finance Assistant into their growing finance team.
The business has built an outstanding reputation within its niche market, partnering with a global client base across offshore and technical energy projects. Despite their established position, they’ve retained a collaborative and close-knit culture, offering strong exposure across the finance function alongside genuine opportunities to develop longer-term into broader management accounting responsibilities.
This role would suit someone looking to step into a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where they can gain exposure across transactional finance, reporting, and international operations whilst working closely with senior finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end invoicing process across contractors and clients
- Supporting credit control activities and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with financial reporting including debtor analysis, KPI reporting, and payslip reviews
- Supporting bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies
- Coordinating contractor timesheets, purchase orders, and compliance processes
- Assisting with VAT submissions, international tax processes, and wider finance administration
Ideal Candidate:
- 1-3 years’ experience within a finance or transactional accounting role
- Strong Excel skills with confidence using formulas and managing data
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero would be advantageous
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Positive, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Keen to develop longer-term within finance and gain broader exposure
